Well in one way you could have it so the flower isn't so cropped off. Makes it more fuller, but having it like it is gives a whole new perspective to it. Or maybe if it was slightly central. But yet again this can change the overall perspective of it. I like the simple view with a complicated idea. Great contrast.

I like the off-balance composition, and that it's a more unique shot of a flower. I am wondering about what you used for the background, I think if there were more interest in it (not enough to detract from the flower of course -- but to bring the values closer to the flower throuhgout), the balance may work just a little better.
